I literally did about 48 hours worth of research when Nikki was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease back in July 2007.
So, I thought I’d try to save you the time and headache of doing the research and would give you some extremely helpful and informational sites about the disease.
So, here goes (this is a work in progress since I have so many links, so please be patient):
1. Canine Cushing’s Support Group website.
This site literally saved Nikki’s life, and my sanity. It’s just so nice to be able to connect with people that are going through the exact same situation as you. Plus, the knowledge I’ve gained from these great people is invaluable.
It’s amazing how many great vets know absolutely nothing about Cushing’s Disease, and how difficult and important it is for your dog to be correctly diagnosed before starting medicinal treatment.
This site and all it’s members has truly been a blessing to me. Thanks to them, I have my old Nikki back!
